What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Some are required for the site to work. Others help us understand usage or support optional features, and we only use those if you allow them.

How we use cookies

ChipLogic groups cookies into the following categories:

• Essential. Required to operate the site, keep it secure, and remember your cookie choices. These cannot be turned off from our banner. Examples include storing your consent decision.
• Analytics. Google Analytics cookies, if enabled, help us understand how the site is used. These run only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Marketing. Google Ads cookies measure whether ads led to a Contact or Contact an Expert request, and may support remarketing. These run only if you accept marketing cookies.

Cookies and storage we use

• chiplogic-cookie-consent (local storage, essential): stores your cookie preference so we do not ask on every visit.
• Theme preference (local storage, essential): remembers light or dark appearance settings for the interface.
• CDN resources: the site may load scripts such as the background animation from a content delivery network. Those requests can create standard technical logs on the provider’s side.
• Google Ads and Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _gcl_aw, and related cookies): set by Google when you allow analytics and/or marketing cookies. Used for site usage, conversion measurement, and optional remarketing. See Google’s privacy policy.

Google tags load with storage denied until you make a choice. If you reject non-essential cookies, Google does not store advertising or analytics cookies on your device.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize categories. You can change that later with Cookie Preferences in the site footer.

You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect core site functions such as remembering your cookie preferences.

How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Preference and consent storage is kept until you clear it or update your choices.
